Twelve years of hearing maintenance and reliability teams describe the same problem.
I spent nearly twelve years at Dude Solutions — later Brightly, and acquired by Siemens — starting in Support and Implementation, moving into Solution Consulting, and finishing as a Senior Director.
That is where this started. Thousands of conversations with maintenance and reliability teams, almost all of them circling the same problem: the software was ready, and the asset data was not.
Teams would ask what services existed to help them capture their equipment data. The honest answer was usually a consultant with a clipboard and an invoice large enough to make the project hard to justify. So the register never got built, or it got built badly — and every system downstream inherited the gaps.
Walkdown exists to close that gap. Industrial Asset Scanner is the first product, and the same capture-first approach has a long way to run across the industries that depend on knowing what equipment they actually have.
